FloTool Shaker Siphon

We love neat gadgets and cool tools, so much sothat we often just buy them off the shelf and use them rather than convincing a supplier to send us a sample for testing. Such is the case with the FloTool shaker siphon, one of the handiest gadgets we've ever used.

It doesn't get much simpler than this: Stick the brass end in the liquid and shake up and down in an unobscene manner, and the liquid starts flowing out the other end of the plastic tube. Of course, as with all siphons, the exit end must be lower than the entrance end-that's how a siphon works. We found this one at a local auto parts store for ten bucks, and have recouped our investment many times over that price by not having to move a gas tank off our Jeep rack-instead we just hook the can to the tank and shake away. OK, maybe we're lazy too, but this method saves time and trouble, and you can use it on your buddy's gas tank as well for a quick refill (but ask him first, of course).
