Borrowed from the Tundra, the aluminum-block 5.7L V-8 engine is a welcome addition to the '08 Cruiser. Variable timing, enhanced cooling, and 10.2:1 pistons enhance efficiency while cranking out 381 hp (100 more ponies than the '07 model).
